About H.E.R.O.

From the humble beginnings at the University of Georgia, two students set out to create an organization upon graduation to provide the children of their state affected by HIV/AIDS the Quality of Life they deserved and the support they desperately needed. After similar experiences working abroad with children affected by the disease, the two co-founders set out to create not just another HIV/AIDS related non-profit organization, but one that solely focuses on the Quality of Life and Emotional Health of Children.

With more than 500 Organizations in the State of Georgia working with HIV/AIDS, only 12 offered services for Children. With its creation, H.E.R.O. for Children became the first non-profit organization in the State to Solely focus their effort and energy to raise funding and awareness for the Quality of Life of children affected by / infected with HIV/AIDS.
