HERO For Children H.E.R.O. For Children - Prom Project

Improving the quality of life for children living with and affected by HIV/AIDS through enriching programs, unforgettable experiences, and connections with the community.

According to Yahoo Style’s 2017 Prom Across America survey, teens are spending an average of more than $600 on prom - prom tickets, hair styling, makeup, attire, accessories, transportation and more.

For some, prom will become an ‘unforgettable experience’ they will remember for the rest of their lives. It may also be the first time they ever get to dress up in a stylish gown/tuxedo and experience the thrill of attending an elegant affair. What’s almost as important as having a date is having the perfect attire, and most of our children are not in the position to afford that luxury. Approximately 90% of the children we serve come from families with incomes of less than $15,000 annually. Knowing this, H.E.R.O. strives to provide our children with the opportunity to receive a free prom dress, tuxedo, shoes, accessories, and/or make-up for their special night.

Help a deserving teen purchase a prom dress/tuxedo and accessories.

Please donate to help us help our teens who would otherwise not be afforded the opportunity to attend prom. H.E.R.O. for Children, Inc. is a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization registered in state of Georgia, Tax ID 74-3094690.
